Tennessee Flight Training Partners with Edly Aviation Lending

Tennessee Flight Training, one of the state’s longest-serving flight training providers, has announced a new partnership with Edly Aviation Lending, providing eligible students with an additional financing option to help make professional flight training more accessible.

Through the partnership, students enrolled in eligible career-track pilot programs at Tennessee Flight Training can apply for Edly Income-Based Repayment (IBR) loans designed specifically for flight training. Loan amounts range from $2,000 to $130,000 and can cover training for ratings and certificates including Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII) and Multi-Engine.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Edly to provide another option for students who are ready to pursue professional flight training,” said Chris Erlanson, President of Tennessee Flight Training. “This partnership aligns directly with our mission of helping aspiring pilots realize their dreams. The cost of training can be one of the biggest hurdles for someone pursuing an aviation career, and expanding access to financing can help more students take that important first step toward the skies.”

Unlike traditional fixed-payment loans, Edly’s program offers small, predictable payments while students are training, followed by income-based repayment after program completion. Students can apply with or without a cosigner, and prospective borrowers can prequalify in minutes using a soft credit check that does not affect their credit score.
